How
to replace a fuse in a valve amplifier
If your
amplifer does not switch on or does not have a blue light when turned
on it is likely that the internal fuse has blown. When a valve blows it
is common that the internal fuse will also blow.
The
internal fuse is located in a fuse holder which is built into the
power socket on the rear.You will need a small flat bladed screwdriver
to prize out the fuse holder.
The fuse is rated at 3.15A, you must replace it with a fuse of the same rating.
