The Separo E34i is a very accomplished integrated EL34 valve amplifier and would be a fantastic upgrade to hifi systems who perhaps currently have £200-£500 solid state amplifiers.
If you are unfamiliar with EL34 valve amplifiers of this nature you really need to listen to these amplifiers to understand how clear and accurate and natural sounding valve amplifiers are compared to the run-of-the-mill solid state amplifiers.

This valve amplifier is a 40 Watts per channel stereo integrated EL34 push-pull amplifier, operating in "Ultra-Linear" mode, which offers triode like lower distortion and pentode like higher power efficiency. It utilises FOUR of the tried and tested EL34 valves and is very, very heavy, 26kg due to it’s massive transformers. Compare this weight with other valve amplifiers on the market. Separo manufacture their own transformers, they are side wound for better frequency stability and unlike many other manufactures, Separo design and build transformers specifically for valve amplifier use and in particular to go in their own valve amplifiers.
This EL34 valve amplifier is very accurate which is reflected in its signal to noise ratio of 88-92db and total harmonic distortion of <1%, compare this to our competitors.
The Separo E34i valve amplifier is equivalent to or better than other EL34 based valve amplifier designs currently retailing at £600 to over £1,000. EL34 valve bias adjustment.
Many of our competitors' amplifiers do not have any simple adjustment for valve bias, this means you have to send the amplifier away to get the valves changed. The E34i has adjustment controls on the sides and with the aid of a voltmeter it is a simple task to change valves and to set the biasing to suit your tastes or to upgrade the valves.
